Adorable creatures have a knack for drawing our focus and eliciting smiles.

It is evident that a majority of individuals find it difficult to resist their appeal.

Even though we usually think of cute kittens and playful puppies when talking

about animals, we should also remember the wild creatures out there. Meerkats

are a great example of this, even though many of us may never get to see them in person at a zoo.

The recent hiring of a man to perform electrical work at a local zoo resulted

in an interesting encounter at the meerkat enclosure. The man found himself

accompanied by the curious little animals as he carried out his tasks.

Upon arrival, Lucy’s father immediately observed the meerkats’ high level of curiosity.

Working as an electrician at a zoo located along the coast of England, he usually

focuses on maintaining rides and resolving electrical problems. Occasionally, he also has the opportunity to assist with tasks within the animal enclosures.

As a few meerkats approached to see what he was up to, he couldn’t resist snapping a couple of photos to show his daughter. The meerkats eagerly assisted him as he worked on their habitat.

The meerkats were inspecting the tool bag that was left open, with one of them even climbing inside. Additionally, they seemed intrigued by the screwdriver and portable light they discovered.

Lucy talked about how meerkats are really curious, so they would just go up and check out what he was doing. There was even a picture of a meerkat sitting on his shoulder. It had climbed up on his back when he bent over to pick something up. She didn’t want to show that picture for his own good.

You never really know what each workday will bring, but it’s nice to have a fun day every now and then!
