passed away peacefully in Maui, Hawaii, on September 28, 2024, at 88.
Born June 22, 1936, Kristofferson left a promising military career to
pursue music, marking his place in history with hits like
*Me and Bobby McGee* and *Help Me Make It Through the Night.*
A key figure in the outlaw country movement, he joined Johnny Cash,
Willie Nelson, and Waylon Jennings as *The Highwaymen,* reshaping
country music’s rebellious spirit. His talents also spanned
acting, with acclaimed roles in *A Star Is Born* and *Blade.*
