I walked into a bathroom at the mall and felt a man follow me. My instincts screamed danger.
I turned to leave, but he was closing the distance. Suddenly, I recalled a comment I once read:
“If you think you’re being followed, calmly turn and make eye contact.I stopped,
turned around, and locked eyes with him. “Can I help you?” I asked firmly. He froze, mumbled something incoherent,
and quickly walked away. My heart raced, but I walked straight to the nearest store,
alert and ready to report him if necessary. Sometimes, a moment of courage makes all the difference.
