Georgina Cooper, the cherished supermodel from the 1990s known
for her unique gap-toothed grin, has passed away during her honeymoon in Greece.
She was only 46.
A heartbreaking event occurred during what should have been a
joyful time for famous model Georgina Cooper and her husband Nigel.
Friends Jade Parfitt and Erin O’Connor shared the news of Georgina’s
death on social media on Thursday, November 8. Reports from the
Daily Mail indicate that she died due to issues related to long COVID.
Georgina was on the island of Kos with her new husband just months
after their wedding when their honeymoon turned into a disaster.
She fell seriously ill and had to be taken to a hospital on the island.
Reason for death
Because of how serious her condition was, she was airlifted to Crete
for better treatment. Sadly, after five days in intensive care,
Georgina passed away, leaving her family and friends heartbroken.
”Georgina had been sick during Covid and developed some health issues;
she had been in and out of hospitals. But she had plans ahead. She just
got married and looked forward to life ahead. Everyone is crushed.
She was truly a star,” said Dean Goodman, her former agent told Daily Mail.
Even though she received medical help after getting sick, Georgina tragically
died at age 46. While there hasn’t been an official confirmation about why
she died exactly reports suggest that a brain bleed possibly linked
to long COVID problems might have played a role in her early passing.
