19-Year-Old Air Force Academy Cadet Found De ad In Her Dorm

Avery Koonce, 19, a cadet at the US Air Force Academy,

tragically di ed on September 4th from complications of untreated

pneumonia caused by a rare bacterial infection. Experts believe,

timely antibiotics could have prevented her death. Koonce,

a former track star, had been experiencing symptoms of pneumonia

before passing away. Her death highlights the importance of seeking
