Cow cries constantly for missing baby, then looks through the fence and loses control

It is always tragic to witness a mother and child being separated.

The breakup hurts equally whether the mother is human or, in this example, from the animal realm.

This cow cried nonstop because she missed her calf so much. Her cries struck me square in the heart.

Karma was saved from being forced to live in appalling conditions on a small farm.

Karma’s rescuers at the Gentle Barn Sanctuary in California anticipated that she would be content to be given a better life, but she was unable to stop sobbing.
Her calf was traveling to be butchered.

The moment Karma was rescued, her new owners noted that her udders were brimming with milk and deduced that she must have recently given birth to a calf. However, they were puzzled as to why this hadn’t been mentioned to them.

They learned that her calf had been sold for meat and was headed to a butcher after making a brief phone call to the prior farm.

In a stroke of luck, the car Karma’s calf was riding in broke down, allowing her rescuers to reach him before his awful demise.

Before they could bring the upset calf to the sanctuary to be reunited with his mother, they had to soothe him down.

At their new farm, the mother and son’s reunion is such a lovely sight.

The little calf rapidly regains his vigor when he meets his mother, despite being terribly underweight and scared out by the entire circumstance.

The video below shows the touching moment when mother and son are reunited.

THANK YOU to all the animal lovers out there who put in such a lot of effort to lessen the suffering of these animals.

Please spread the word about this story to honor the efforts of these animal heroes who made it possible for Karma to see her calf again.
