a royal biographer, told People, “Although the King is carrying out his duties

with typical determination, he has had to accept limitations during his can:cer treatment.”

She also stated that this will lead to Prince William taking on additional responsibilities. So he might take the throne shortly. Royal watchers are aware that King Charles was crowned in May 2023. And less than a year later, it was revealed that he had can:cer. A source also informed the paper, “There’s a sense of calm before the storm” for Kate and William.

This entire event was considered an indication that he was fully prepared for the post.
