George Strait is mourning the loss of two cherished members of his musical family,
manager Eugene “Erv” Woolsey and band member Gene Elders, who both passed away recently.
Woolsey, who had managed Strait since the 1980s, died at age 80 due to surgical complications.
Strait shared his grief on social media, expressing how difficult it is to imagine
