12 US States Face Hazardous Winter…

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued severe winter weather warnings across 12 states,

including Arkansas, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee, and Texas. Snow, ice,

and strong winds are creating hazardous travel conditions, with warnings in effect through

Saturday morning. A Winter Storm Warning is in place for parts of East Arkansas, North Mississippi,

Southeast Missouri, and West Tennessee from 6 p.m. Thursday to 6 a.m. Saturday (CST). Snowfall is

expected to range from 4 to 6 inches, with ice accumulations in some areas. Counties such as Tallahatchie,

Yalobusha, and Monroe may see up to 2 inches of snow and light ice. Cities like Bruce, Water Valley,

and Aberdeen should expect slippery conditions, especially on bridges and overpasses
