Chuck Woolery, beloved game show host and the first host of Wheel of Fortune, has
passed away at 83. His close friend and podcast co-host, Mark Young, shared the news
with TMZ, saying Chuck felt unwell at his Texas home and later struggled to breathe. Despite emergency efforts,
he passed before help arrivedBorn on March 16, 1941, in Ashland, Kentucky, Chuck was a
familiar TV personality and musician. Before his game show career, he was part of the
pop group The Avant-Garde, known for their 1968 hit Naturally Stoned, and later pursued a solo country music career.
