Trump’s Approval Rating Increases Amid Policies
President Trump’s approval rating has risen to 54%, its highest point, according
to a recent DailyMail.com poll. Younger voters, especially those aged 18-29,
have driven much of this increase, with approval rising from 51% to 56%.
The poll was conducted just before Trump’s meeting with Ukrainian President Zelensky,
which may affect his approval further. Despite criticism from some, 36% of Americans
have a more favorable view of him, with 16% expressing negative opinions.
Trump’s actions, including spending cuts, deportations, and foreign policy moves,
have helped boost his popularity. His government overhaul, including the closure of
USAID and firing thousands of employees, has been divisive. He is expected to outline his goals in an upcoming speech to Congress.
Despite some polls showing a decline, J.L. Partners’ polling shows Trump’s approval remains strong.
The survey indicates approval among Democrats and younger voters has increased, while slightly
decreasing among Republicans. Many supporters believe Trump has been more focused and effective in his second term.
