Natural Pest Control: The 3-Ingredient Trick That Really Works

Pests like flies or cockroaches can make a home feel unsafe and stressful. Before turning to harsh chemicals, you can use simple,

natural ingredients already in your home to deter them effectively. A mix of mint toothpaste, baking soda, and white vinegar creates

a safe pest barrier. Peppermint’s strong scent overwhelms insects, while vinegar and baking soda disrupt

their scent trails, keeping them away without harming your air, surfaces, or loved ones.

To make it, combine 1 tablespoon each of mint toothpaste and baking soda in a bowl. Slowly add 1 tablespoon of white vinegar,

allowing it to foam, then stir in 120 ml of lukewarm water. Add a few drops of peppermint oil for extra strength.

Place the mixture in shallow lids or bowls in problem areas like under sinks, near trash, by doors, or windows.

You can also use a cotton swab to apply it along baseboards and cracks. Replace every 2–3 days for continued protection.

This affordable, non-toxic solution is easy to make, safe for your family, and uses nature’s power

to reclaim your home from pests—without poison, fumes, or unnecessary stress.
