Former President Joe Biden, 82, recently underwent Mohs surgery to remove skin cancer, his spokesperson confirmed.

The procedure removes thin layers of skin until no cancer cells remain. Speculation grew after Biden

was seen in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, over Labor Day weekend with a scar stretching from his forehead

to the back of his head. Earlier sightings showed him with a cap and later a bandage in the same area.

This adds to Biden’s health struggles, including aggressive prostate cancer that spread to his bones,

revealed in May after doctors found a nodule. He also has a history of skin cancer, having basal cell carcinoma
