Actor Gary Graham was best known for his role on the TV show and in the TV movies “Alien Nation.” Other notable credits include “Star Trek: Enterprise,” “Robot Jox,” “The Jackal,” and “Prelude to Axanar.” According to IMDB, he acted in over 100 projects during his career, and he has three projects in post-production.
Gary’s wife, Becky Graham, confirmed the sad news that her husband suddenly died of cardiac arrest. She told The Hollywood Reporter that he died on Monday January 22, 2024. He was at a hospital in Spokane, Washington, at the time of his death.
Becky and Gary had been married for 25 years. She was his fourth wife.
Gary’s first wife, Susan Lavelle, shared the news of her ex-husband’s death in a touching tribute on Facebook. She posted several pictures of Gary and described him as “funny, sarcastic sense of humor but kind, fought for what he believed in, a devout Christian and was so proud of his daughter, Haylee.”
Susan also asked for prayers for Haylee as she processes her father’s death. Susan wrote, “This was sudden so please pray for our daughter as she navigates through this thing called grief.”
Gary was born in Long Beach, California, in 1950. Before pursuing a career in Hollywood, he was a pre-med major at the University of California. It didn’t take long for him to switch his major to acting.
Gary’s biggest role was on “Alien Nation.” He stared as detective Matthew Sikes. Besides the TV series, he reprised the role in five TV movies, “Alien Nation: Dark Horizon,” “Alien Nation: Body and Soul,” “Alien Nation: Millennium,” “Alien Nation: The Enemy Within” and “Alien Nation: The Udara Legacy.”
Besides Susan and Becky, Gary was previously married to Caren Leslie Williams and Diane Patricia Vaughan. His marriage to Becky was the only one that didn’t end in divorce.
Gary is survived by his wife, daughter and two sisters, Colleen and Jeannine.
