Real Events That Get Scarier the More You Read

Some people don’t need to watch scary movies or read horror books to feel scared.

They’ve had strange and creepy experiences themselves. While some

of these events can be explained, others might make you doubt what’s real.

One thing is for sure: the true stories we’ve collected will stay in your mind for a long time.

The Story:
I remember 17 years ago when I had my first baby. I was lying in the hospital

with the baby next to me in her crib. That night, a nurse came in and said she

could take the baby to the nursery for a few hours so I could sleep.

I said, “No thanks, I want my baby with me so I can watch her.”

The next night, I was really tired and asked a nurse if she could take the baby to the nursery

for a few hours. The nurse looked shocked and said, “Your baby is supposed

to stay with you in this room. We don’t have a nursery. No one would ever take your baby from you!
